[Mod_gzip] Mod_GZip Log file

My log file seems to grow & grow with no end in site. 
Is there a way to set Mod_GZip to save only x amount
of days in the log file?  I am running the last
version by RemoteCommunications.  I would upgrade but
I still have not taught myself how to recompile yet
and being I only have a production server available to
work on it makes things a bit more difficult.

Or not being Linux savy at all, how would I set the
syetem to backup the file after x amount of days and
then purge the current?
