[Mod_gzip] mod_gzip & apache 2 - please help!! urgent!

Michael,

I'll soon have a compiled apache...was just busy..

But, did you try to install zlib by your own on a other than default
directory? This could maybe just help.
Also, what is in your /etc/ld.conf ? Maybe you need to run ldconfig?
