Reading the mini-how-to on MOD_GZIP WITH SSL MINI HOWTO I see how to get ssl
enabled. The problem that I am running across is I have about 50 virtual
host on one server. Each virtual host can be accessed through ssl and
without ssl. This is our default setup for each virtual host. This way we
do not have to manage two server domain blocks for each site setup on the
server. I am wondering on the next upgrade of mod_gzip if a port exclude can
be added as an option. For example a line in the config for mod-gzip can
look like this:
mod_gzip_item_exclude port 443
I would like to be able to disable mod_gzip for port 443 while still allowing
port 80 to use mod_gzip in the same server domain block.
Thanks,
