Hi,

I can't get mod_gzip to work properly. In apache conf file under a
virtualhost I have:
mod_gzip_on Yes
mod_gzip_item_include file \.htm
mod_gzip_item_include file \.html
mod_gzip_item_include file \.php
mod_gzip_item_include file \.gif
#mod_gzip_item_include mime "application/x-httpd-php.*"
mod_gzip_temp_dir /tmp
mod_gzip_keep_workfiles Yes

In the error log for this domain:
mod_gzip: ERROR: fopen(_27061_121_22.wrk) in dyn1_getfdo1
mod_gzip: ERROR: Make sure all named directories exist and have the correct permissions.

Shouldn't fopen() try to open /tmp/_27061_121_22.wrk?
Where would be the basedir for that file?

Thanks
