Thanks for the speedy replies.
In fact, the info at the bottom of "Changelog" is
precisely what I needed (maybe breaking that stuff out
into a separate "Installation" read me would be a good
idea for future releases.).
This is all incredibly impressive. My site
(funtrivia.com) gets fairly heavy traffic (11 million+
pageviews/month) and the bandwidth costs have been
quickly rising. I have the compression running
site-wide now (all html, all cgi, php, cfml pages) and
the server load has not risen much at all.
Are there any notable downsides that I am yet to
discover? Right now this looks to be all gain and no
pain. Significantly faster pages, lower bandwidth,
minimal server impact.
