[Mod_gzip] Unable to successfully install Mod_gzip

Hello,

I have been testing mod_gzip for the past couple of days and am able to get
it working from time to time. Once it works it is great, however, getting to
that point has confused me. I have yet to determine the correct steps to
take in order for it to work.

I have used these sites:

Neither seem to work the first time. Although after repeatedly trying to
install them one of them will inevitably work.

Does anyone have a precise how-to document/website that I can be referred
to?
