[Mod_gzip] Precompressed files

Hi,

I use mod_gzip for months without problem, but now I'd like to use 
precompressed files to lower my CPU usage, and ... it doesn't work !

I use 1.3.26.1a, with default options (except I compress CGI, PHP and SSL as 
well).

When I put an index.html.gz, mod_gzip take index.html and compress it instead 
of taking the precompressed files. Why ? I don't know !
