Hi Bob,
what is your ratio of HTML to say graphic images or multimedia?
you may not be seeing any real bandwidth savings as the overall 'html'
bandwidth might have been small in the first place.
try writing a little perl script to add up the size of each file (say
based on file extension) and see how much is being used, or if you want
to try some beta software look at timer.webperf.org which does similiar
things via libpcap.
