[Mod_gzip] mod_gzip and mod_ssl

All,

I see many references regarding the problem with mod_gzip and mod_ssl when
they are used in the same instance. Some of these references go back to
prior to 2002.

Has a version of mod_ssl (or a patch) been released that actually corrects
the problem that mod_ssl causes? I am hoping to not have to implement the
solution that is described in the "mod_gzip with SSL how-to"
